First Build

alright so this is gonna be my first build and id like some input on my hardware.

-i7-2600k
-ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3
-CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
-GIGABYTE GV-R697UD-2GD REV2.0 Radeon HD 6970
-CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-850TX 850W
-OCZ RevoDrive 3 series RVD3-FHPX4-120G PCI-E 120GB PCI-Express 2.0 x4 MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

the SSD was kind of a last minute add cause i noticed on newegg they had them with PCI-E and i figured that connection would be quicker.

any comments?

You want a 2600K, why? Because it's $100 more? Or are you doing Hyperthreading which might be needed in photo Compodition .video editing etc.

500K is a clocker. You get Hyper thread in the 2600
A 2600K is $100 more. Nothing wrong with a 2600K
If you GAME. get the 2500K. Intel's gift to gamers

It's because of the price/performance ratio. They both perform almost similarly in gaming.
