So, I need to know if I can install windows 7 x64 via direct boot when I start up my computer it is in ISO format. So like my default boot will be my DVD drive to install it. can I do that with it being ISO format?

U will set the boot order for the CD/DVD. That's all u need. But what u wrote doesn't make much sense.

What he said ^

Also, flash drive installs feel like they are 100x faster and you don't have to listen to the DVD drive make all that racket.

I have a system at work that has passive cooling on the E-350 CPU and an SSD hard drive. It was odd to be in the room when they were installing Win 7 Pro from a flash drive and the computer never made any noise other than the beep when posting.
