I own a Motorola V551 cell phone. If I get a Bluetooth adaptor for my
laptop computer should be able to backup my contacts list with the software
that comes with the adaptor or will I have to buy Motorola's software?

Have transferred a few contacts between my Zire 72 PDA with DV Contacts
(Outlook on Palm OS 5.2.8) and my Moto V551. Works fine but if it were
me, I would get the Moto package to include BT and CD to sync with my
PC.

If you have a BT PDA with PALM OS and Data Viz Contacts then try
this....

My PC does not have BT at the moment but I get around this by syncing
my Zire 72 via USB to my PC after transfering V551 contacts to my Zire.
I should mention that I usually do this in reverse order to get my PC
Outlook contacts loaded on my V551.

Sounds complicated but it has worked seemlessly for the past week.
