Windows 7 installing service update 1 over and over?

I have windows 7 x64, I go to updates and it tells there is an important update I installed it and it was succesful I rebooted the computer and it just shows it again, I go to update history it says it was succesful but it still says there is an important update I downloaded a fix it thing sorry I don't know the name it was a microsoft fix it thing but it still says it needs to update it?

    I tried that it downloaded and when I installed I just left it alone and it came up installtion failed about 45 minutes later.
  3. uninstall the one you got from microsoft update and retry the one you dowload from the link
  4. Its not under the list of installed updates but it is under update history but I can't uninstall from there, so theres no option to uninstall.
  5. it's is removable under update history when in update history click the link show update installed then you will se a uninstall option left the sp1 and on to click uninstall
