So I recently installed a new motherboard being the Intel DZ77GAL-70K but I'm having an issue with the back USB ports as they seem to quit supplying power every so often to my mouse or gamepad when plugged in. It happens and random times and seems to happen more often when playing games.
This is a new motherboard and I want to say I hooked everything up correctly but I guess I could be wrong on that maybe I missed something and there is not always enough power going to the back slots? But my keyboard never seems to lose power so I'm not to sure on the cause.
I have made sure that neither device (gamepad or mouse) are going bad by plugging them into the front USB on my computer and they never go off. I have went into device manager and under "Universal Serial Bus Controllers" I have made sure any "USB Root Hub" cant be turned off to save power from a suggestion that I've seen for people with similar issues.
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated as at the moment almost every USB on the back of my computer seems to like to power down every so often for only a second or two but it's greatly disturbing.
