Z77 Extreme6 dead, requesting feedback on possible replacements

I put together an i5-3570K build seven months ago based on the ASRock z77 Extreme6 board, along with the following parts:
G.Skill Ares 16Gb DDR3 1600 Kit (F3-1600C10D-16GAO)
2x EVGA SuperClocked GeForce GTX 570 (012-P3-1572-AR)
OCZ Vertex3 128Gb SSD
Samsung 840-series 250Gb SSD
SeaSonic M12II 850 PSU
NoFan CR-95C cooler
In-Win Q500 case
Noctua NF-P12 PWM 120mm Cooling Fan
Noctua NF-R8 PWM 80mm Cooling Fan

In brief: This morning I turned the system on, only to find that the on-board LAN was dead and Win7 was being generally uncooperative and slow. I logged a support ticket with ASRock after doing the usual tech hokey-pokey (check drivers, cables, switch port, bare-bones boot)

I'm hoping I don't experience the same abysmal support that others have reported and I get a working replacement, but in the event I'm forced to suck it up and buy another board, have there been any advancements or new models I should consider? Originally, it was something of a toss-up between the Extreme6 and the MSI Z77A-GD65.

Important: SLI, quiet, reliability
Uninportant: Thunderbolt, on-board audio, PCI slots, overclocking
