Msi 870a-g45 fastest ram with 960t

I have an Msi 870a-g45 mobo and I want to get a Zosma 960t to put in it and need to know the fastest ram that combo will handle.

Just get yourself a decent quality DDR3 1600mhz kit from a reputable company Corsair and co. As the difference between them and the super expensive high end ram kits in terms of real world speed is almost negligible.

I agree, get a 1600mhz kit, but aim for something with lower cas if you can. You will get more performance out of it.

Well I went part of the way and got some Patriot 1866Mhz Viper Xtreme Series Division 2 ram, i figure if I can't hit 1866Mhz it will still be an option when I change to a newer proc and mobo later on. With an ok cas of 9-11-9-27, plus classy black and gold look, very nice!!!

Oops it's a 870a-g54, not 45, and I heard the newest bios brings FX processor support.
