IMac mid 2011 ram question

On the bottom of my imac in the ram section there are two rows of ram slots. the bottom row and the top row. is the bottom row one dual channel and the top row another dual channel? or is the dual channel up and down? if that makes any sense?

the way my imac came from the factory it had 2 samsung 2GB modules in the bottom row so i am assuming as they were both in the bottom row then that would be a dual channel set up??

in the top row i have put 2 2GB Kingston ram modules which match the specs apple recommend. will this be ok as in the bottom row i have a matching pair of samsung and the top row i have a matching pair of kingston?

so they are set up in matching pairs?

is this example ok??
top row 2x2GB Kingston KVR1333D3S9/2
bottom row 2x2GB original apple(Samsung ram)
