Just installed new RAM but BIOS isn't loading

I just bought Corsair CMX8GBX3M2A1333C9 XMS3 8GB for my ASUS P7P55D-E mobo but when i boot up there are no beeps and the DRAM_LED flashes red for 10-15 seconds or so and then stays solid. I also just put my old RAM back in and my mobo is only detecting 1 stick. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks.

With that Asus board, it is very easy to insert the ram but not quite fully... try pushing down firmly on the non-locking side of the ram -see if it'll lock down further. Also, check all your connections (especially power) to ensure one wasn't knocked loose
