Upgrading Memory, Need Suggestions

December 28, 2012 2:27:25 PM

Hello everyone,

I have a Intel DH55PJ motherboard with currently 2 GB DDR3 double sided ram installed on a DIMM slot.
I want to upgrade this to 6 GB setup.
Past week I ordered Corsair Value 1x4GB (CMV4GX3M1A1333C9) without proper research and ended up with a single sided ram which my motherboard does not support.

So before ordering a new ram , I wanted to consult you guys.
The memory configuration for my mobo is http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/dh55p...

I want to order Kingston Value 4 GB PC RAM (KVR1333D3N9/4G) http://www.flipkart.com/kingston-valueram-ddr3-4-gb-pc-...

This one seems double sided.
Can you please suggest whether I should go for it or not ?
My new config will be 1x2GB EVM DDR3 double sided ram + 1x4GB Kingston Value DDr3

Thanks.
!
