Hello all,

I am thinking of building an HTPC to replace the Media Player I am currently using.

I have built a few PCs before but this would be the first time with an HTPC (not that I expect the actual buliding to be much different).

The main goals to this are that I can play any video in any format I find (I assume through installing new codecs as I do on my PC) as well as allowing for webstreaming. Those are the main 2 reasons to replacing my current Media Center.

With that said, the list of requirements:

Approximate Purchase Date: Within a Month

Budget Range: Ideally below 500, but meets the needs > budget.

Parts not Required: Keyboard, Mouse, Monitor, Speakers, HDD (have a 1TB SATA HDD spare)

Preferred Website for parts: No preference (I live in Belgium, Europe). Feel free to post Newegg links - I can find the equivalents here easily enough.

I am looking for a build which can satisfy the following requirements:

1. Connect to an HDTV via HDMI.
2. Play high-end video/audio (including blu-ray rips + HD Net streaming).
3. Web browsing.
4. Has an analog and digital TV input (recording is a plus but not required).
5. Wired and wireless connection options.
6. Connection for Digital Camera Picture Viewing/SD Card reading (not required but a plus)
7. Can plug in a Surround Sound system (up to 7.1).
8. Remote Control
9. Is quiet!
10. Has at least 2 USB 2.0+ ports (Keyboard + External HDD)
11. Question - What would I need to plug in a WII/PS3 through this as well (to make use of the Surround Sound system)?

If any of the requirements are unreasonable or any are missing feel free to point them out.

I look forward to your recommendations!

After doing a bit of research I figured the best solution would be one of the bundled E-350 Mobo/CPU/Integrated GFX solutions.
Such as those listed on this page: http://www.afuture.nl/search?q=e-350&zoek.x=0&zoek.y=0&zoek=Zoek!

However, I have read some posts here that they can stutter a bit with things like HD Netflix and other playback.

Is there a there a higher performance bundle than the E-350 packs availble? The only other choices I saw was to buy a seperate Mobo/CPU/Gfx card solution.

For the rest:
PSU Antec EarthWatts Green EA-380D - $30 : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371033&Tpk=earthwatts

RAM G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB - $30: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231277

What TV Tuner would you recommend to be able to watch and record Analog/digital tv + has a good remote?

This system will probably connect to a 5.1 speaker system which in turn connects to the TV. As long as the Mobo supports 5 channel+ audio I assume an audio card is not required?

Thanks for any help you guys can provide.
