Cpu running too fast

Umm... Percentage is not the speed at which the computer (cpu) is going at. Cpu percentage as shown is actually the amount of load the processor is undergoing at one point in time. So if you have it reach 100%, that means the cpu is at its maximum "capacity" and at that point it cannot increase the amount of data coming in it at that time, which causes your computer to freeze...

What that means is, your cpu isn't capable of running the program effectively without freezing. I would suggest you use a lighter internet program such as this: http://www.opera.com/download/

try using task manager to see what program is using all the cpu resources
