So I'm new to building a computer and was wondering if I need to buy my own thermal paste or if it comes with it. Any recommendations on which one?
I have a Intel Core i5-2500k.
And a Radeon 6870, I'm not sure if im supposed to apply thermal paste to this also...

Normally the paste comes with the cooler either as a preapplied pad (std cooler) or in a small container. The HD6870 comes all assembled and no paste needed!

So if I do not have a cooler as part of my build, then I won't be needing thermal paste?
