How to buy a used video card?

So I'm meeting someone tommorow at their house to buy a MSI HD 6950 2GB twin frozr III+ a 750W PSU for $250. Now I'm wondering what I need to know about it before going there to buy it, and how to tell if its faulty or something like that.

Are you sure thats a deal? I know its the twin II and not the III, but it is new, comes with a game, a warranty, but its only $18 more.

He said he is getting a 750w PSU as well for the $250. Depending on the brand of the PSU it could be a quite a decent deal.

@OP: Something like Furmark is meant to stress test a video card(and a PSU I guess) so it would be a good thing to use to make sure the card is in good shape.
