I am in need of some help, and I appreciate it in advance.
I am building a new pc:
Asus P8Z77-v Pro Intel I5 3570k>MSI 660 TI - Twin Frozr III Corsair TX650 power supply Seagate Barracuda 1TB Sata Lite On read write - SATA Corsair Vengeance 4GBx2
Unit boots up into bios fine -- no problems.
When I boot to disk I get the reboot and select proper boot device error. > I have ensured the boot order is proper, the DVDRW is first, followed by the hard drive on SATA ports 3 and 1 respectively. I have forced boot to DVDRW through f8 menu. Still, I am not able to boot to my Windows 8 CD to start installation. I have removed the battery to reset the bios, and have tried multiple different SATA Ports etc.
I am running bios version 1504. Everything appears to be detected and functioning properly. Please help. Thanks!

There must be a problem with your boot disc, boot sectors must be missing.
I am booting to a brand new windows 8 cd.. you think something is wrong with it?
There can also be a problem with your drive. Try using the disc on any other pc or any other bootable disc.
