Likely not.

However the headroom on the 2500k is insane I'd do some overclocking. That way you could test it out yourself as well.

750w with a quality PSU is plenty enough room to overclock...

That's full system power usage, using an i7-970 which uses more power than your CPU as it is.

Raidur is correct. As long as you have a quality 750w PSU you will be fine to overclock.

i have a 2500k paired with gtx560, im only using 550w and i have my procie to 4ghz, no issues. so a 750w should have no prob.

I don't think you will see the day anytime soon where a 2500K is bottlenecked, what is bottlenecking is your GPU, it just can't do what you want it to do.
