Upgrading to a good graphics card for Autocad and gaming?

What's your budget?  

My budget is to stay within the $300 mark, anything higher would need to be justified   Sorry for the late reply, new to the site :S

Right now I have a Nvidia Quadro 2000 (its a loan gfx card) and it performs well, running games like battlefield bad company 2 at 50 fps max settings with fraps (60fps without fraps on max settings) and Autocad and 3ds max as smooth as butter on toast. But as most people would know this card is expensive and that has ruled it out for me.

The gaming doesn't have to be excellent for me, just around 60fps on medium-high settings shall do, but the main focus is on the Autocad and design work.

I need a card that will perform excellent on both next-gen games and Autocad as well as being affordable. I know Nvidia are partnered with Autodesk and that is why im leaning towards a Nvidia card, but if anyone knows of a card that is an ATI equivalent to Nvidia's cards that would be helpful

Nah , unfortunately you have to stick with Nvidia to have Cuda.

I meant on the topic itself? is the GTX 560Ti or GTX 550Ti good for Autocad as well as gaming?

I don't know as I don't use Autocad.

Its good for gaming though? will it be good enough for bf3 @ 60fps, 1920x1080? (estimate?)

Again I don't know as the game hasn't been released yet and I can't be bothered with speculation of this kind.
