Basically, here it is. I want to spend about $1500 dollars, I might go as high as $1800.

The monitors I play on are a pair of ASUS VH242, full 1080P monitors at 1920x1080. I sometimes hook up my 42" RCA 1080P 60Hz TV to my PC as well... and would kinda dig being able to have this hooked up permanently just for fun.

What I am trying to achieve with this build is the following:

- Future Proofing: I want the build to play everything that I can throw at it for the next couple years without having to upgrade anything.
- Computer Case: Dust Filters, dust filters, and more dust filters, and preferably something with a side panel window so I can show off how sexy it will be without taking the side panel off (Any opinions on the Corsair 600T?)
- I figure an important piece of info would also be what games do I play. ATM, i'm EAGERLY waiting for SWTOR :) I also play StarCraft 2, CoD MW3. That's pretty much it atm.

So far, this is what I have come up with, I simply would just ask for criticism/feedback on my selections, and if I'm doing the right things.

Mobo: ASrock 990FX Fatality
CPU: Phenom II X6 1100T
CPU Heatsink: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
SSD: Corsair Force Series 240GB
GPU:
Memory: G Skill 4x4GB DDR3 1600 Ripjaws
Case: Corsair 600T White Edition
PSU: OCZ 750W Modular

I plan on getting a 2nd Hard Drive for storage when the prices come back to earth, and also planning the usually 99 bucks for Windows 7 into this. Where I always get lost is the GPU. For the resolution I'm running, yet making sure I future proof, what would be the best option for me? and any advice on my selections? TY in advance, you guys are always so much help to me :)

Just fyi... 560ti for a gpu?? Any thoughts?

750W PSU will be able to handle 2 560 Ti's or 2 6950's. If you want to up the GPU to a 6970 or a 570 and go SLI/CF in the future change PSU to a 850W.

Keep your case if you want, Hyper 212+ or Hyper 212 EVO (tomato vs to-mah-to sang)

SSD up if you want doesnt matter I would still stick to a Crucial M4

Emelth made his case all right -- Its in your budget and it will be faster.

Sorry just woke up or I woulda replied sooner! hehe

Ty for the quick responses, I did have a few concerns however I wanted to bring up.

The primary reason I veered away from Intel's sandy bridges is that if I did SLI a pair of 560's, 99% of the boards i've seen for the sandy bridges dont have two PCI 2.0 X16's, they always appear as some x8/x8 build. Should that worry me at all?

2nd, The GPU I posted after my initial post, worth it? not worth it? just curious is all.

3rd, I know it was said I could just hold with the case i'm using, but are there more options out there that might match the requirements I posted?? just curious, dust filters are a big thing for me, especially easily accessable ones... i get lazy sometimes lmao.

4th, not worried about a storage drive atm, 256gig SSD will do me over till hard drives come back to earth price wise hehe :)

Ty again in advance :)

Unfourtantly I dont know anything about that 560 TI 2win GPU so someone else will have to answer that, but for $500 it better...

There are always motherboards that can support SLI/CF it all just depends on the prices most $125 boards have the ability to support them.

Always better options for cases just goes up in prices, I'll check around for some good one for you and post them when I find them

HDD prices may not come down for a while so grab whatever you can now
