Asus p8z77-v all leds flashing

Hello,
We have put together this computer and at power up, all fans come on, the leds rotate a flash through every one, then repeats. Nothing on monitor, can see that usb keyboard lights up briefly as it runs through the leds. This is the 2nd mobo, same scenario. WTF?

make sure the mb not shorting out to ground. with the mb check that the mb will pst with the bios installed with your cpu. a lot of the older x68 wont post with an ib chip unless you flash the bios. try posting with one dimm..no video card. the last thing to check is a bad power supply. the power on good led should stay on if there no short or power issue. (ie check that the 4/8 pin power plug is connected).

I am having the same problem with the same mobo. Did you ever figure out what was wrong? I would really appreciate if you could post any additional info. Thank you!
