Hi everyone, first time poster
I want to build a computer for gaming- school work reasons(Swtor, Skyrim,SC2- Studying systems engineering needs to run programing software). Ive built 1 pc before but after about 2 years i had many parts fry do to overheating and poor case/power supply reasons and because of that i have to build a new one and don't want the same thing to happen this time around. Last time i had help picking out parts but this go around Ive done all the leg work myself in terms of trying to educate myself about different options parts and such (Toms hardware,Anand Tech have been so helpful.)I'm more or less finished but i could really use any advice you guys can give me in dropping the price, options for different parts, and making sure i don't kill this pc....oh almost forgot it is extremely important that this pc not die on me ( i know i sound like a broken record) since i live in southamerica (In Houston ATM) and getting replacments, etc is an issue. Thanks for all the help :p
eagerly clicking refresh button,
Mario

Wow. You need a new monitor my friend. :O

I'm using the same monitor as you and I have no problems with any games right now with my 9800GT.

Ditch the water-cooling and fans. Get a cheaper motherboard like the z68 asrock extreme3 gen3. Get a new monitor. A 1920 x 1080p or 1680 x 1050 so that you can truly appreciate your biuld.
