Setting up ASRock extreme4 z77

Hi all,
I have been looking at building my own gaming pc. However I have heard that setting up bios settings on a motherboard is very challenging and time consuming. I have seen some shops in my local area (I live in Scotland) which will build my pc for me but it can be pretty expensive.
Are there any tutorials on how to set up the motherboard or tips and if not could someone please tell me how to do it?

The board should work with default BIOS settings. However, for a problem involving the BIOS you would get an answer in this forum or by googling.
