Hard to say what the issue is; I recommend you wait for a cpu/board/ram upgrade or try selling the card; the board slot only reads at 8x; I doubt the power supply is the problem; the 620 is a low end card.

Well the card was only bought less than two weeks ago from Novatech. It was actually recommended to me by one of thier sales team. The Motherboard, cpu, heatsink and the RAM were also bought from them quite a while ago as a pre built bundle... That is why I took them at thier word when they said the card would suit my system.
I have already emailed thier techs about this but all I got back from them was a list of procdures to check if the card was faulty but the list wasn`t specific to my card and had a lot of info that wasn`t relevent to mine (AGP card info etc..) So I thought that by asking here I might find some info more helpful and if indeed the card is no good to me I could then go back to Novatech and insist on my money back as I only bought it on their recommendations... It`s the first time i have had a problem with any goods they provided but i have a suspicion that the salesman was only interested in boosting his Christmas commision on this occasion.....
