Asrock 970 Extreme3 optical s/pdif surround sound
Hi everyone, i just bought a 970 extreme3 and tried to hook it up to my receiver using an optical toslink s/pdif cable. It connects fine and i get sound, but it only has 2.1 sound, not surround sound. Does this motherboard only have 2.1 sound from the s/pdif ports? i can't find any information about it online so i was wondering if anyone had any experience with it.
