Amd quad core a6 3400m vs intel core i5-2430m

which of the above processors is better?
i will be primarily using it to run IDE's, Emulators and other programming software.

The Big List of Mobile Processors (CPU Benchmarks) ranks CPUs by overall performance.
(Using "Show desktop and notebook CPUs" option)
Core i5-2430M ranks #52
A6 3400M APU ranks #153

If you are not gaming or using applications that are highly GPU dependent then don't bother with any thing AMD based as Intel does better in raw cpu performance.

Just get the i5 and don't look back.
