Ok so I'm upgrading my 5770 and I've stumbled a bit on an issue. I found evga gtx 460 new for 160. Or a used 560 non ti for 180 also evga. What should I get? Non an extreme gamer but play at 1920 by 1080

Solution
The GTX 560 is the strongest one here. Not by much though. And seriously, those cards are not a good upgrade from a 5770. Ofcourse it depends on the games you play but personally, I would consider getting a 6950 or a 560 Ti if I was planning to upgrade from a 5770 and call it worthwhile.

I agree, 5770 to 460/6850 really isn't much of an upgrade.

6850 is slightly slower than 5850 which is about 20% faster than a 5770.

GTX460/6850 are similiar in performance. The 560 is a replacement for the 460 and has slightly higher clocks and more comparable to a 6870.

I'd recommend at least GTX560/6870 for 1920x1080 or even better 560ti/6950 1GB

if you get the 6850 i would get the Asus eah6850 v2
which is a great card, you can go to the asus site and down load the smart doctor for the 6950 and overclock your 6850 faster than the stock 6950 with no error, and get a decent vga cooler (it will run hot around 50 c). i have mine core clock running @820 mhz which is as fast as most entry level 560's for 100$ less
