Which motherboards will fit ?

Hi guys,

I have a compaq presario sg3-210uk which has integrated graphics so i am looking into replacing the motherboard, would someone be able to tell me please what motherboards will fit ?

Hi, Using Athlon II X2 220? Wanting to keep it (does it work)? Buying a graphics card too, or searching for a board with integrated graphics?

Yes I am using the Athlon II x2 220 will try to keep it if I can I'm just looking for a new motherboard and graphics card I don't think any integrated graphics will be powerful enough for most games but if it is then that's fine I'm just looking for mediocre gaming

Then look for a AM3 board. Choose one depending on the budget, then go the manufacturer site and check if the CPU is supported.

What RAMs are installed? I think you should upgrade the memory too.

Thanks, I currently have 4gb of ddr3 ram, does it matter what chipset it is ? And with the mother board you have listed would that be fine for my pc also how do I tell what ram will fit that and will any graphics card fit ?

Any AM3+/AM3/AM2+ will fit the CPU (check it though with the CPU compatibility list).
Not sure about the case dimensions (does it fit ATX, micro ATX boards).
The same, depending on the case, maybe not all graphics cards will fit (check the dimensions).
Select one PCIe 2.0 x16
Not sure if the memory would be compatible. Can you check the model?
