Hello, I could use a recommendation here too I want to use my new i7 2600k with my nvidia GTS8800 video card to run X-plane at very high resolutions and frame rates. I think I want a board with the Z Chipset and maybe an open PCI slot or two. Anybody??? - Oh , and happy Thanksgiving!

But keep in mind, the old GTS 8800 is the weak link in an otherwise modern fast system. I hope it's the 640MB version, and not the 320MB version. It'll probably do the job for you with X-Plane because the graphics aren't very demanding. But if you find it the program is sluggish, don't blame the board or processor; get a new card.
