Dec 30, 2012, 11:30 PM
I am buying this motherboard with a 2500k.
I want to get the sandy bridge because I would like to oc it and not have to worry about the heat.
My question is will USB 3.0 port function with 2500k and that mobo?( I dont care about the 3.0 speed but just want know if the ports will work if i use normal usb 2.0 devices.

Yes if the case has USB3 ports then they will work together. It is a board function not CPU.
