High latency in games, Comcast test reports Low latency?

Hi,
I have comcast internet Blast! 30mbps. I test my connection speed via comcast. It reports around 28mpbs download and 5 mpbs upload and 5ms ping. While I play LoL it reports high latency, around 200ms. I just ordered the DOCSIS 3.0 to see if that would be the problem, It'll be here on monday. Do you think it could be a NIC card? I have the ASUS M4A785TDV-EVO (Green). Phenom x6 1100t. 16gb 1600mhz ram. Asus GTX560. I'm tempted to just buy a 30$ Intel NIC card let me know if I'm crazy. I have a router as well but nothing is hooked up to it, it's wireless N and I thought maybe someone was jacking my internet via wireless so I shutdown the broadcasting. Thank you for any help.

Where is the LOL server? Have you tried other servers?
You're probably seeing server issues causing latency. And it's out of your control.

I didn't think about that. It used to get low latency 20ms. Makes perfect sense. I try another server. Thank you
