Under 3K Gaming PC, pls advice

After much research and armed with 3K I configured this to the best of my knowledge:

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, database server, app server
Overclocking: Yes
SLI or Crossfire: Yes
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com
Country: Canada
Additional Comments:I would like to setup eyefinity, have a decent OC'ed gaming rig and most important keep noise levels low so it does not feel that I am sitting in a server room :) Any feedback is appreciated.

  1. Have you thought of splitting the costs up? Like $750 for the server and $2250 for the gaming rig? I would go that route. Also, $2250 can get u a pretty kick-a** gaming rig
  2. Good idea, have reduced the CPU to i2500k and motherboard is switched to
ASRock Z68 Extreme7 Gen3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard. Still debating to wait for Ivy. Ah well lets see if I can get my hands on i5-2500 sold out on many sites.
