Would 4gb ram make a diffrence

ok i currently have 2gb ram in 64 bit windows 8 the ram type is ddr2 6400 i have 2 1gb sticks in my computer right now its a intel mother board a q35jo to be exact with a gtx 650 and a core 2 duo e8500 3.16 ghz along witha 380 w power supply by the way my memory is curcel but i need to know how much a proformec gain will i get with 4gb memory will it be much or none at all my mother board can support 8gb memory max so ya....any answers THANKS

You won't experience any significant performance gain but with 4gB of ram you can run more applications at the same time. Also try to have a dual channel setup this increases performance.
