Hopefully this question merits a straight-forward and easy answer

I currently own an EVGA GTX 470. What would be a better performance upgrade?.. Buy a 2nd for about $180 and go the SLI route, or just buy a single EVGA GTX 560 for just under $200?

the 470 http://www.amazon.com/nVidia-GeForce-1280-PCI-Express-Video/dp/B003EM68MK/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1317112051&sr=8-2

SLI = more performance, whereas a 560 really isn't an upgrade over the 470. The problem is that the Nvidia 400 series isn't as good for SLI and the cards also run a fair bit hotter. I wouldn't go with either option. I'd either go with a 580 or wait for the next generation of cards.

560=no real upgrade (whaste of $200) SLI=hot, hot cards and not ideal value. So again I'd wait for next gen. A 470 will still play everything out now very well.
