Some instability

December 31, 2012 9:00:49 AM

I installed another 2 gb of ram onto my computer, filling up all 4 ram slots on my motherboard, they have been there for some time. The ram works when i have them at 1.8 or 1.9v at timings 555-18 or 555-15 (ddr2). There seems to be some instability, not with the ram because i carry out ram tests for long periods of time and game and they are fine, there have been no bsods at all. Sometimes i have problems loading up windows though or freezes. Should i increase chipset voltage or nb voltage and how much too? I read a topic that if you populate all 4 ram sockets, and overclock the ram the motherboard will require a higher voltage to keep system stable, is this right? My motherboard is m4a785d-m pro. The default chipset voltage is 1.1000v and the default nb voltage is 0.8000v.
