2 GB RAM - Detected Only 510 MB

Hi

My system has 2 GB (DDR2) RAM installed but the system only detects 510 MB and even uses 510 MB which leads to performance bottleneck .

The worst part is that my BIOS says 0 MB Physical Memory but it displays the its FSB .
I have tried re-inserting the RAM and clearing CMOS by the jumper but it didnt had any effect .

Please help .

Remove cmos battery ,goto bios ,if same problem continues update bios. again problem buy a new ram.

Removed battery but still no luck .

Even did a format and installed windows 8 but it only shows 510MB . CPU-Z says its 2GB .
