Frys Black Friday Deal a Good Buy!?

Hello all,

I'm wanting to be a decent machine for my son for Christmas.

It just needs to run Warcraft well with somewhere near maxed out settings. Should be pretty easy I imagine.

When you say warcraft are you refering to the old strategy games or world of warcraft? if you are refering to the old games then yes you should be fine if WoW then no that's not going get him past low settings.

if you have a od hdd use it because hdd prices are sky high or just drop the 6870 to 6770 and get a 160 gb hdd.

I am referring to the mmo World of Warcraft.

What he really wants is a laptop, I just saw that deal and thought it might be better.

nope what you need is a graphics card to run wow this has onboard intel graphics (i assume) and those always suck for games manu's build would make WOW look good for a decent price but if you want a laptop for wow your going to have to get something with a dedicated gpu.
