Help choosing processor and graphics card?

This is my first time using Tom's hardware, but I'm giving it a shot.
So, I'm on a budget right now, and I have two combinations of cpu and gpu since I'm trying to build a desktop soon. My 2 combinations are:
Intel Core i3 2120 w/ Radeon 6850
OR
Intel Core 2500k w/ Nvidia GeForce GT 520
If i should get the second option, should I get a 2550k instead? Is it worth it? Should I wait for the Ivy Bridges to come out instead (if they do, I'll prob get the GT 520)? My main concerns for my desktop are gaming (mainly League of Legends) and overall performance such as browsing the web and stuff.

get the i3 and 6850. The 520 doesn't run games well at all.

there is a HUGEE difference between the gt 520 and the 6850

a no brainer:
Intel Core i3 2120 w/ Radeon 6850

and if you are putting this on a Z68 motherboard, if ivy bridge is all that and a bag of chips, you can drop one of those in to replace the i3.

Oh, alright then. I forgot to say that the 2500k will be overclocked to 4.5 GHz, does that change anything or should I still go for the i3?

By that point the gt520 would cut you off. i3.

A great CPU will not make up for a bad gaming card which the 520 is, no question go with the I3 HD6850 combo.
