Looking to build a new rig

Hi i am looking to build a new gaming rig. Don't know which cpu to go with AMD or Intel. I am looking at an Intel E2180 or an AMD Athlon x2 5000. Which is a better cpu for gaming? Also my budget is $200.00 Max for the whole system.

You can't really build a gaming system for $200. Your best bet is an AMD APU.

Let me rephrase that I have $200 max to start with. I will have another $100 in 7 months.
