More about build advice suggestions
  1. Total: $736.92 w/o HDD
  2. It's good. You might want to get a different gfx card. I mean, it sounds like a fantastic deal but i didn't find any reviews on this card.
As for hdd, go to a local store they might have in stock before the floods.
Caviar Black/Seagate Barracuda 7200.12/Samsung F3 Spinpoint. Best gb/$ you can find.
  3. So I tried to look around for other gpu around 250 bucks. And these are some of it:
    EVGA 01G-P3-1561-AR GeForce GTX 560 Ti - $249.99
    GIGABYTE GV-R695OC-1GD Radeon HD 6950 1GB - $249.99
    MSI N560GTX-TI Twin Frozr II/OC GeForce GTX 560 Ti - $244.99
I think the price of hdd on local store were also affected by the price increase.
  4. That card has a five year warranty. I'd say give the new guy a chance :D

The user reviews seem positive FWIW.
  5. actually diamond has been in the scene since i was a teen, i doubt it will be bad quality. In fact i owned a couple diamonds back in the day, heh, good times. Hey, how bad could it be?
  6. Thanks both of you. I still gave 25 hrs. Still open for change and violent reactions. :)
  7. No complaints you should be able to get some of the parts cheaper at microcenter, the 6950 is slightly better than the 560Ti
  8. Should I get and SDD and wait for HDD prices to go down? Or that would be a bad idea? Coz 1TB of HDD at the moment is 150 bucks and up. Ouch.
