Motherboard problem

Hi- I am trying to install my motherboard into the case, and the micro-atx mobo has six holes for standoffs. I realigned the standoffs in my case to match up with the board, but there is one standoff that I cannot get the screw into. It doesn't perfectly line up with the hole, however, the hole is still resting on the standoff. Can I leave this one without a screw? Or will it short. All the other holes are screwed in.

Hi, Try replacing the standoff, if possible. If not, you can leave it without a screw.
