[Prebuilt] Upgrading GPU and PSU in E-Machine; issues?

Last response: in Systems

For Christmas, in 2009, I got an e-machine ET1331G-03w. The GPU is integrated and terrible. I am deciding to upgrade it with an ASUS Radeon HD 6770, and this as the PSU: http://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-eXtreme-ATX12V-Acti...

(The specs of the original computer: http://support.gateway.com/emachines/desktop/2009/emach... )

I want to use this for World Community Grid, Hardware Accelerated Browsing, and Steam gaming (I'm not planning on max settings).

Does anything seem blatantly wrong with this setup? Is there anything imperative I need to get?

Thanks! (Pretty sure I posted in the right place.)

The only issue with putting a new card and psu into an emachine is if you have a case that isn't big enough to fit the psu or card or if you motherboard lacks a PCIe slot. Other than that it should be fine. I'd check your dimensions to be sure.

The Motherboard DOES have a PCI-E 2.0 x16 Slot and the case looks like it should have enough space for that PSU. You shouldn't have issues. Your processor and Memory will be SERIOUS bottlenecks though.
