BSOD's

Hello

Ill post my specs first i guess.

windows version: Windows 8 64bit , 6.2, build: 9200
windows dir: C:\Windows
CPU: GenuineIntel Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU G530 @ 2.40GHz Intel586, level: 6
GPU: 8800GT 512MB
RAM: 4GB DRR3 PNY 64COMHHHJ8G17 1333Mhz
PSU: ASUS 550 WATT (i will get the exact model if so desired)
MOBO: ECS H67H2-M3

When i bought some parts to build a pc i had bsod's from the get go, i initially thought it was my old hard drive cause i used some ide to sata converter, but when i purchased a new sata2 hard drive i kept getting bsod's so i pulled out my gfx card and i still got bsod's so that rules out 2 components. I tested my ram with some build in windows tool and it found no errors, just in case i also checked my new hdd with checkdisk i think it was called and again no errors were found. I did get the bsod's with a fresh install of win7 and win8 64 bit so i doubt it's driver related but im not to sure about that. I updated all my drivers using the ECS website when i had win7 aswell. I think either my RAM or MOBO is at fault here or some settings inside the BIOS with the RAM timings because it underclocks them cause of my cpu (G530) but im not too familiar with anything in that regard.

BSOD's mostly during gaming and just a couple during regular use like browsing the internet, watching youtube vids or webcaming.

BSOD's errors found so far (i had alot more but i removed them):

Your system dump file keeps telling you that you have a software/driver problem.

I would download the latest NVidia video driver from NOT ECS but from NVidia.

Completely remove the NVidia video driver that is loaded on your system.
Install the new downloaded driver.

Cost is free. This seems to be what the alerts are telling you.

Just my 2¢.

I did that, when i installed a fresh copy of windows 7 and 8. when i mentioned i updated all my drivers from the ECS site i only did so for the mobo and some other updated ones, the gpu drivers are outdated anyway on the ecs site for nvidia.
