Ok so im trying to take advantage of the black friday sales on newegg. Right now i have:

Mobo: ASUS P8Z68 Deluxe/Gen3 LGA 1155
CPU: i5 2500k sandy
Memory: G.Skill X Series 8gb (2 x 4gb) 1600
HD: Samsung spinpoint F3 1 TB (is this a good HD?)
SSD: (For OS and 2 games maybe) Samsung 830 64GB SSD
GPU: HIS IceQ X Turbo H695QNT2G2M Radeon HD 6950 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity
PSU: Corsair Gaming Series 800W
OS: WIndows 7 Home

Ok recently i saw on the newegg website the deal of the Diamond Radeon HD 5970 for just 299.99 where as HIS IceQ is just 269.99. So i was wondering is this a good deal with my i5 cpu? or would i need to upgrade it to an i7 for the Radeon HD? Im tryin gto get the best gaming rig i can between the 2.

Do you think the rest of my rig works? Will it all function right and is the mobo fitting for the gpu? I know this is alot to ask but im a NOOB! lol any help would be great! thanks im trying to order it tonight! please help
