New Build Help (First Time)

Last response: in Systems

I am ready to put some money into building a new computer. I am mainly using it for internet/movies/music/gaming (Dark Age of Camelot) and stuff like photoshop.

After doing lots of research and reading lots of reviews, this is what i have come up with. I really just want a confirmation that all this is compatible/decent stuff and should work etc. Is there anything i'm missing, or any ideas to help save money? Im going to order it in pieces, everything thats on sale hopefully tomorrow, the rest later after i can get some more cash.

Wasn't sure about the Graphics card, does it work to use AMD card on intel board/processor? Seems like there are better Radeons for similar price, but the GeForce GTS 450 seems ok, and EVGA seems solid.

Right now its roughly at $715, and $645 after mail in rebates, cant really afford much more.

Thanks!!!! Any input is greatly appreciated.

Eww. Don't get a GTS 450. Get a 6770. It is a tier higher than GTS 450.

Get this Corsair 430. more than enoigh for a 6770.

Get this ram. Cheaper by $12 since it's on black friday sale.

Get this case. It's pretty good for the price.

Get this Seagate Barracuda 500gb. It's only $85. A good brand to boot.

Saved you at least $50

What :o . It's okay my friend, there is no difference anyway. The 1600 would go down to 1333 if it weren't compatible.
