$500 Budget Gaming Pc

Approximate Purchase Date: Operating by Christmas

Budget Range: Around $500 (if possible closer to $400) after Rebates

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming, movies, surfing

Parts Not Required: monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, case w/ PSU (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811144270)

I have a feeling I am going to have to get a new PSU. Hoping this can hold me until January for more funding.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg

Country: US

Parts Preferences: First Build...open to suggestions

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe...but in the distant future

Additional Comments: Right now I just want to basically play some games. Don't want serious lag. WILL be upgrading the future. Games: LOTRO, SWTOR, whatever else that can consume me. I want to get a system running as quickly and cheaply as possible.

  3. The Pentium G850 at that price offers higher performance. Check the $500 build in my sig.
