Nvidia nforce 10/100/1000 mhps ethernet adapter?

Not sure if this is the right category for this question, but I was going to uninstall my amd drivers to install the new 11.9 amd drivers. But I stumbled upon an old nvidia driver, I used to have an old gt 220. I tried to uninstall that because I don't need that anymore. When I tried to uninstall it, I reboot my computer (Which it told me to) and I dont have internet access. Windows was searching the problem, and found this "The NVIDIA nforce 10/100/1000 mbps ethernet adapter is experiencing driver- or hardware-related problems" Im pretty sure it's messing up my internet. Please help, is there any way to remove this issue?

  1. Sure, all you need to do is reinstall the driver for the network adapter. Go here:

Get the nforce drivers and install them. Should square you away.

    Good luck!
  2. No internet? Im using my brothers computer, so i cant install it. Will a usb flash drive work?
  3. Im not sure installing nvidia drivers will even work without an nvidia video card.
  4. yes...use a usb drive to install. you have a Nvidia chipset on your motherboard...not that you had a Nvidia videocard.
  5. I install the drivers, and then uninstall them?
  6. USB is fine to copy to and install from. Also, the nForce driver package will only install drivers for the devices you have. Not to worry regarding the ATI GPU you are using.
  7. So which drivers do I install? The link you gave only shows me the drivers for nvidia graphics card. When i install them, it wont affect my amd drivers right? And i dont have to uninstalll them? (sorry if im asking too much questions its just i want to get everything fine so i can play bf3 beta again)
  8. What make/model of motherboard do you have? With that info, I'll point you right to the file you need.
  9. Wait nvm about this downloading the drivers
  10. Got it! Thanks, it took me awhile to find out how to reconnect to my network. Again, thank you!
  11. You are welcome. Have fun!
