Occasional blank/corrupt screen on new system

Hi All

I recently purchased a new pc with the following setup and i`m getting occasional (once or twice a week) blank screens and sometimes small black and white squares screen corruption. The computer is still running but the keyboard doesnt register anything.

Motherboard Model: ASUS P8P67 PRO
CPU: Intel 2600k 3.4ghz (not overclocked)
Ram: 8 GBytes kingston hyperx 666.7 MHz (PC3-10600)
Graphics Card: Zotac GTX 465
Drives:Crucial C300 128GB SSD
western digital SATA III Black 1TB
Case: Coolermaster nv 334
Power supply: Coolermaster gx 750w

I`ve tried swapping the graphics card with another model and i`ve again had a blank screen. I`m thinking it could be power related?
One thing i`ve noticed since I`ve recently moved is that the whole computer case is giving off static, i noticed it on my dell laptop too which has a metal surround.
Could there be some kind of earthing issue thats causing this?

Thanks

ok i`ve had our electricity supply grounded so no more static. But i put back my original gtx 465 card and i instantly had screen corruptions for 3 boot ups when it went to the windows login screen. Then it behaved itself.

    Anyone help?? Thanks
  2. Heres a video with what happends with the gtx 465

  3. I since discovered that the electriction only ground one socket rather than both, so I plugged the PC into the earthed socked and it seems to have cured this problem. So I think it might have been a static issue. Havent had a corrupt screen since.
