More about which specifications best
  1. i would take the second one. Perhaps add a SSD
  2. Do not get the first option, sincerely you don't have anything to gain over the second build since the 2nd generation intel processors are way better (performance/consumption) than the 1st generation.
  3. Thanks guys for the help ^_^ then i will buy Socket 1155 :)

I have question when will Socket 2011 release...?!
  4. Socket 2011 is released already.
Their CPUs are the Sandy Bridge-E (Enthusiast), look for reviews here in TH.

Sandy Bridge-E: Core i7-3960X Is Fast, But Is It Any More Efficient?

But let me summarize it for you: do NOT worth for gaming, sometimes i5-2500k games faster.
  5. Option 2 man, its a very nice system.
  6. Is this mean the best for me is to buy Socket 1155...?!
  7. Yes
  8. Thanks gothems ^_^
  9. My pleasure.
  10. Option 2 is a great gaming system.....but that's not mentioned till 4th in your priority list. The 1366 still serves better in most memory intensive application tasks but, from your description, I don't know what specific apps you are using so I'm not in a position to recommend which one works better for you. To get the "best of both worlds:......

    1. Move up to the Sandy Bridge-E
    2. You have "top of the line" MoBo and you have included a great "budget" cooler....but the rest of the build isn't a "budget" system.
    3. Ya went with CAS 8 RAM which will help in your programming,m animation tasks, but XAS 4 is not far away.....expect only a 3-5% increase in gaming FPS but it will only increase system cost by 2% or so therefore it's a good ROI.
    5. You went with the Rampage / Maximus on the other two builds, so I stuck w/ the top end again.....however ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 will more than serve .... the Rampage is an extremely feature rich hi performance MoBo but that comes with a commensurate price tag.

    - ASUS Rampage IV Extreme LGA 2011

    - Intel Core i7-3930K Sandy Bridge-E

    - Thermalright Silver Arrow

    -Shin Etsu TIM

    - Wait 4 days for the new GTX 560-448 which is a 560/570 hybrid

    - Mushkin Enhanced Redline 8GB (2 x 4GB) CAS 7 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 Model 996999

    - I normally recommend the Barracuda XT but it's price has more than doubled. Seagate is the least affected by the floods but retailers are still smacking us 100%+ price increases

Case / PSU - I always think of buying these two in combo

Antec 1200 V3 or DF-85 w/ CP-850 - Nothing comes close to matching the price ($115) / performance (10.0 jonnyguru performance rating) of the CP-850 .... both cases are fantastic to build with, great cooling, air filters, just about all ya could ask for.

HAF-X or Corsair Carbide 500R w/ HX 50 or XFX Core Edition 850 - The latter is case in white is ridiculously priced at $80 on newegg

Of course, if the budget is there, the Level 10 GT Snow is the ultimate case and I'd put a HX850 in it

with matching Mouse, KB and headset
  11. Ok, I will tell you what program i use and you give me the full specifications please...

I use Adobe Dreamweaver, Flash, Flex, Photoshop , After Effect, Premiere Pro, Visual Studio 2010, VirtualDub & 3D Max.
  12. What is your budget Q8Xbox?
What JackNaylor suggested is extremely expensive and not really worth the money.
  13. My budget is $1800...
  14. I want to buy the computer today. Do i buy the Socket 1155 or Socket 2011...?!
    My new budget is $2000
  15. I say go 1155. You can get Ivy bridge later and you will be good for years to come.
2011 is not worth it imo.
  16. Thanks gothems. I will buy Socket 1155 with the case provided by JackNaylor

    Best Regards,
  17. Good choice. I wish you lots of happiness with your new computer :)
