Follow up Question

I wrote just a couple of days ago about a 450 power supply. However, I went with a 500w corsair cx power supply and want to know the following, if you'd please assist:

1. Is the Corsair 500cx a good supply?
2. Is 500w enough for 1 140mm fan, 3 120mm fans, 1 1.5 TB hdd, 1 2 TB hdd, Phenom II x6 1045, and a 24x dvd writer.

Also, is it okay to put 2 fans on the same line of molex connectors?

It largely depends on the graphics card you are using. The system, as it is, will load upto about 200W.

What is your graphics setup?

The graphics are integrated on the MB. I do not plan on using an aftermarket card.

you could put 2 fans on the same molex but with the inboard graphic dont ry to play new games this machine will be better for office and internet (@ Bob the Nailer dont bump post )

Answers:
1. Is it the V2? If not, then your PSU is not 80+ certified. It's not their best product, but is still a decent PSU.
2. That PSU is more than sufficient to power your PC. Using integrated graphics the Antec Earthwatts 380W would be more than sufficient.
