Do I have to buy a graphics card with Gigabyte GA-X79-UD5

Hello,
I'm a music producer. I'm planning to buy the Gigabyte GA-x79-UD5 with the Intel i7 3820 with 16GB DDR3 RAM. I'll be running extremely demanding applications. My recordings require around 100+ tracks with VST's and VSTi's. How do you think is Processor - Motherboard combo? If I don't buy a graphics card will I be able to view anything at all? This board does not have any onboard graphics!

i7 3820 don't have the onboard graphics too.

I will recommend buy the i7-3770 or i7-3770K, 16GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM, HD7850 or HD7870, and the Z77 MB.
