Already have HDDs, and Optical Drives, just need advice on everything else cuz I don't have much experience. Also, does anyone think I should wait till Cyber Monday to buy some things?

Anyway, here's what I'm looking to buy:

Part list permalink / Part price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($104.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($84.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($29.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: PowerColor Radeon HD 6870 1GB Video Card ($139.99 @ Newegg)
Case: Antec Three Hundred ATX Mid Tower Case ($34.95 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: Corsair 600W ATX12V Power Supply ($49.99 @ Microcenter)
Total: $444.90
(Prices include shipping and discounts when available.)

Almost perfect! I would get this case for USB III in front panel and better airflow at the CPU area

NZXT Source 210 Elite White Steel with painted interior ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Black Front Trim

And this motherboard so you can have the option to Crossfire (8x / 8x)

ASRock 870 Extreme3 R2.0 AM3+ AMD 870 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

Thanks for the reply.

I found an ATI Radeon 5870 for a good price, and wondering if a 5870 would be able to run with that power supply? I know it's considerably more power hungry.
